just a note to say we are still alive and kicking … we moved the shop this week and I am still getting things settled. Moving a business is right up there with root canals and kidney stones. Hopefully things will get back to a little more normal next week. Still riding when we get the chance …

IE 7 - MS Faux Paux

I didn’t really discover until yesterday that folks that were using IE 7 could not read more than about three lines of the blog. Sorry. I also discovered that when microsoft rolled out IE 7 they decided not to play by the rules and created a browser that would not work with some pages. Other browsers had lended themselves to a standard … except when you are as big as MS … you don’t have to use the standard. IE 7 force fed with XP, so literally thousands were stranded without their Harley Ghost. I didn’t notice because I use Firefox exclusively … and I didn’t do my developers home work.
So blame me … because if you blame MS, they might end the world.

always time for a jaunt

News flash, moving your business can be very stressful. Man, I have been working night and day getting our new shop ready for the move. This is the week. Workers will come in Thursday to tear down all of our high tech machines and move them. It will be a two day ordeal. So … a week from today I should be all moved into our new facility in The Colony.
Yesterday, I pretty much crashed and rested. About 6:30 I started cleaning the Valkyrie and by 7:00 p.m. … we were headed somewhere. Ended up at Lake Kiowa, North east of Pilot Point. Ate a little place called the “Branding Iron” on 902. It was really nice. The ride home was actually a cool one. Temperatures in the 70’s. I commented to Lori … it doesn’t get any better than this.
I am still looking forward to our road trip with Sre and Fly Guy in Sept. … even though I haven’t been able to return phone calls to Fly Guy this past week. Don’t know if he read my blog … but, if he does … I still want to go dude.

crazy hectic

Some of you may not know … but we are moving our business. It is a major deal. Anyway … looks like we will have everything moved my the end of the month. Very long days. We really enjoy going for a ride about 7:30 p.m. … the heat of the day has ended and you can actually catch some cooler temps … of course you get a lot of bugs. My bike is dirtier than it has ever been. I’ll catch up.
