last post as harley ghost

For most that have followed my life on harley ghost over the last two years … you probably found it very tumultuous. Funny a lot of times … sometimes thought provoking … sometimes offensive … sometimes embarrassing. All in all … this blog was just a chronicle of my life. Life is a struggle, period. Anyway who tells you differently is living in a bubble or not on this planet. But, I have moved on in my life … and this blog just does not seem to fit me anymore. Yes, I still enjoy riding motorcycles. Yes, I still enjoy writing … the thing that is changing in me is … I am beginning to enjoy LIFE again.
I thought I would just take the whole sight down and eliminate the evidence … but I just renewed my hosting for another year (not voluntary, thanks godaddy) … I thought about taking down some of the posts that upset folks and really were hurtful to myself and others … but then I thought … why? At least for a year it will serve to remind me of where I have come from … the depths of bitterness to crawling up on the banks of hope.
If you look … you will find another blog from me, if you want. It seems every August I have a change … maybe because it’s my birth month … I don’t. Thanks for tuning into Harley Ghost.

the road while driving (dangerous)
Posted on May 5, 2008
here’s a shot of the open road at sunset in the hill country. I took this while driving … not smart … but a cool foreground blur. This was on the road to the enchanted rock … 15 miles north of Fredericksburg. It was also scary because the deer were running. We saw 4 dead on this road alone and over 20-30 head of deer along the roadside.

I know it’s been a couple of days since my last post or two. Every once and a while you have to take a couple of steps back and just look at the stuff you’re doing in your life. Yes, sometimes every minute of everyday … and ask yourself … is this it??. Blogging comes up short on some days … but I did get to go to Casey’s film at AFI Dallas yesterday.
I love the hub bub of film festivals .. so much anticipation and excitement. If you want to catch the trailer or better yet … go see it this week.
Here’s the movie website …

allegedly being caught
Posted on March 12, 2008
Gilligan’s ‘hot’ sidekick got busted yesterday with some pot in her car. She didn’t know how it got there and her erratic driving was because she was trying to find the heater controls for her new car.
The 69 year old Dawn Wells was coming home from her birthday party! What a drag! Can you believe they busted her on her birthday? It’s ok Dawn … 40 years ago you could have gotten out of that deal. But now … maybe …. not so much.
Of course her story to the cop was right out of a Hollywood script.
I picked up these three hitchikers and they started to smoke something … so I put them out.
It was a good story Mary Ann, but your mug shot looks a little tweaky.

TULSA, Okla. - Two fortune cookies helped Tulsa police make an arrest after a pair of break-ins Chinese restaurants. Terrence Middleton, 30, was booked Friday on charges of second-degree burglary and attempted second-degree burglary after police responded to a burglar alarm to find him with more than $20 in coins and the cookies in his pockets, Officer Leland Ashley said.
Middleton was being held on $15,000 bond.
Ashley said police were able to link Middleton to the Asian Express that was robbed because he had possession of the same type of fortune cookies that were at the restaurant.
The alarm went off at the Asian Express about 14 minutes after one sounded at the Chinese Chef Restaurant down the street Thursday night, Ashley said.
When officers arrived, both restaurants had their front doors broken. At the second restaurant, the cash register had been pulled open.
Minutes later, officers stopped Middleton, who was walking down the street, and he dropped various coins and a prison identification card, Ashley said.
Ashley said it appeared there was nothing stolen from the first restaurant, and all that was missing from the second restaurant was $20 in change — and the fortune cookies.
